#YOUCHOOSE3 Moray funding for recovery projects
5th October 2018
#YOUCHOOSE3 is inviting applications from projects focusing on connection, prevention and recovery in relation to drug and alcohol related harm.
Moray Alcohol and Drugs Partnership (MADP) has announced £13,000 to be distributed through participatory budgeting, as part of the #YouChoose3 initiative. They are looking for applications from projects requiring funding of between £500 and £1500.
SRN’s Network Officer for the North of Scotland, Holly Hendry, has been working with tsiMoray and the Moray Wellbeing Hub CIC to deliver #YouChoose3. The partnership has given a particular focus to making sure people to think explicitly about how their projects are promoting recovery concepts that are meaningful. This has resulted in an application process based around the themes of CHIME (Connections, Hope and Optimism, Identity, Meaning and Empowerment) and the local MADP Priorities.
Holly Hendry commented:
Central to SRN’s work is collaboration and supporting the development and adaptation of recovery and wellbeing approaches that are relevant to local communities. Using CHIME and tying in with local priorities as part of the application process ensures that together we can make recovery real and sustainable for the people of Moray.
Applications will close on 24th October 2018.
