Women Employability Support and Social Security: 5 September 2015

The Scottish Women’s Convention (SWC) is holding a consultation event to discuss some of the powers being devolved to Scotland under the Scotland Bill.

SWC_logoThe Scottish Government are currently consulting on employability support and devolved powers in relation to social security. The SWC would like to speak with women about:

  • Their experience of the Work Programme and/or Work Choice
  • What barriers unemployed women face and what support they need
  • The impact of the changes to Disability benefits, Job Seekers Allowance and Housing Benefits
  • Working with employability support and social security. How is it working for you?

The event takes place on Saturday 5th September 2015 from 10am to 2.30pm at the Hilton Grosvenor Hotel in Glasgow.
