Using social media to talk about mental health: Glasgow workshops

Mind Waves are running a series of free half day workshops to get people started with using social media to talk about mental wellbeing.

mind_waves_logoThe workshops are open to people with lived experience of mental ill-health, carers, volunteers and people whose work is related to mental health. Mind Waves commented:

“There is no charge for the workshops, Mind Waves just want participants to use what they learn to spread a more positive message about mental health and wellbeing.”

Workshops:

  • Getting started with social media: December 3 2015, 1.30pm – 4.30pm
  • Video and audio for the web: January 21 2016, 1.30pm – 4.30pm
  • Blogging about wellbeing: February 17 2016, 1.30pm – 4.30pm
  • Simple social media graphics : March 17 2016, 1.30pm – 4.30pm
