Top tips for talking to your GP about mental health

Glasgow Association for Mental Health (GAMH) have worked with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and people from diverse backgrounds to create a series of top tips for talking to GPs about mental health.
The GAMH ‘Talking about Mental Health’ project includes delivering peer led mental health awareness sessions for black minority and ethnic communities.
In response to concerns raised about GP appointments, a leaflet in a range of languages and a short British Sign Language (BSL) film have been created with tips for getting the best out of GP visits. You can download the leaflets and watch the film here:
