The Power of Peers: Inverness

23rd October 2019

The Power of Peers Event

Friday 15th November 2019

This one-day event will explore the benefits of peer support and what value YOU have to offer from you own lived experiences.

This event is for people living and or working in the North of Scotland.

Having peer support means we are not alone; we are being supported by someone who truly understands what we’re going through because they too have lived experience. They have the ability to empathise, plus you can both learn from each the in the process of recovery.

Scottish Recovery Network is working with Change Your World Events to deliver this event. Change Your World Events is all about creating a positive ripple effect for individuals, organisations and the environment through the power of personal development. The Power of Peers event will explore the value YOU have to offer others and your community.

We invite you to join us for a lively and day where we can share our own experiences of peer support, discover what is already happening in your area and explore how peer support can be developed further in your area.

Whether you are someone who could offer peer support or is in need of peer support, this informative, highly engaging and thought-provoking day is for you.
