SMHAFF programme launched: October 2015
14th September 2015
The official programme for the Scottish Mental Health Arts & Film Festival (SMHAFF), running from the 10-31 October 2015, has been launched.
Now in its ninth year, the festival has over 300 events taking place in 17 regions across Scotland.
The festival aims to support the arts and challenge preconceived ideas about mental health through theatre, film, comedy, dance, spoken word, visual art and more. The theme for 2015 is passion. Festival Manager Gail Aldam said:
“What has really struck me each year is the passion that people have for what we do, using art to give a voice to marginalised groups, challenging injustice and instigating change.”
