Sharing the power!- sold out
Join us at this online event as we explore what peer facilitators need to ensure peer support groups are a great experience for all.
For people experiencing mental health problems, and their families, peer support groups provide a safe and mutual space to build relationships and feel connected. They are a key factor for many people in their wellbeing and recovery.
So what is it that makes the difference? This event is for anyone based in Scotland who is involved in participating, facilitating, and/or keen to develop peer support groups. The event will create a space for us to learn from each other and share facilitation ideas:
- What makes a group peer?
- What makes your peer group awesome?
- What have you learned that you would like to share with others?
Come and share your experiences and expertise as we celebrate the power of peer!
Scottish Recovery Network will use the learning from this event to develop a Peer Group Facilitation toolkit which we will add to our growing resources on the Peer Recovery Hub
