Share your experiences of using social media for self-management

8th October 2015

People Powered Health and Wellbeing (PPHW), working in partnership with Be Good Be Social, want to hear about your experiences of using social media for self-management and supporting others to do the same.

PPHWB_logoPPHW recently carried out an evidence summary in partnership with the Knowledge Into Action programme at NHS Education for Scotland. This showed that using social media such as Facebook, Twitter and closed forums can be beneficial in helping people with long term conditions to self-manage.

Building on the findings from the summary, PPHW are now doing futher research into self-management and social media in the form of two online surveys. Your answers to either one or both of the surveys below will inform the findings of this research.

Take the survey for individuals with disabilities, long-term conditions and unpaid carers

Take the survey for professionals working in health and social care and the Third Sector

The surveys close at 5pm on 30th October 2015. For more information contact nancy.greig@alliance-scotland.org.uk. By completing a survey you have the chance of winning a £25 High Street or Amazon voucher courtesy of Be Good Be Social.
