Scottish Government seeks views on disability action plan

The Scottish Government has launched a draft disability action plan with more than 50 commitments aimed at ensuring Scotland leads the way on the rights of disabled people.

The Scottish Government logoThe delivery plan (2016-2020) has been created in consultation with disabled people and aims to help Scotland meet the requirements of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD).

The Scottish Goverment want to hear your views on the plan which is available in a number of formats. The consultation runs until 4th January 2016.

The Convention of Scottish Local Authorities (COSLA) are also carrying out a consultation with a focus on Local Government Delivery Plans. The Scottish Government is encouraging respondents to consider and respond to both consultations if possible.
