Schizophrenia study seeks participants
15th March 2016
A PhD student, at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital, is seeking participants, in Lothian, for a small pilot study looking at increasing physical activity of people with schizophrenia.
The Lothian based study aims to increase physical activity through the development of a behaviour change intervention. This intervention will support the increase of walking using pedometers and activity diaries to help monitor progress and set goals.
Eligible participants must be aged over 18 year with a diagnosis of schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder and living in the community.
If you have any questions or might be interested in taking part contact Lily McNamee on L.McNamee@sms.ed.ac.uk or 0131 537 6522 / 07563 535 459.
