Recovery Lanarkshire – Save the date!

28th January 2019

This event is designed to bring people from across Lanarkshire together to celebrate the fact that people CAN and DO recover from mental ill-health.

It will also help inform how mental health recovery can be made real and stigma and discrimination challenged across Lanarkshire in the future.

The event is for people with lived experience as well as those who support them in either a personal or professional capacity. It is an opportunity for people to share their own experiences and learn from others.

Most of the day will take the form of a conversation café that will allow participants an opportunity to talk to each other about what they do to keep well mentally and what helps them in their recovery. It will also be a chance to learn more about some of the work that is happening across Lanarkshire.

Recovery in Lanarkshire will take place on Wednesday the 27th March 2019 from 10.30am until 3.30pm at the Alona Hotel at Strathclyde Park. Booking will open in the next few weeks. If you wish to express an interest in attending the event e-mail info@scottishrecovery.net – Alternatively watch this space!

The event is being organised by the members and supporters of Lanarkshire Recovery Network and Stigma Free Lanarkshire. It is being supported by the Scottish Recovery Network (SRN) and See Me.
