‘One Size Doesn’t Fit All’ Launch of Angus Creative Minds

5th November 2019

Angus Creative Minds (ACM) is an emerging social enterprise based in Forfar.

Set up by the people, for the people, Angus Creative Minds has a vision of creating an environment where people can create, explore and connect with their creativity and each other.

It is for everyone, especially people experiencing health or social barriers to participating in creative activities.  The development team and volunteers have transformed the building from a working office, to an exhibition area, and creative work space in time for their opening participatory art exhibition ‘Making an Exhibition of Ourselves’.

Why not go along, try something creative in a friendly environment, and make new connections.

Facilities are being developed on a ‘work in progress’ basis, with the ‘white box’ gallery space, creative workshop space, and ‘bring and share’ members kitchen in use at present.

In the next couple of months a woodworking and picture framing workshop, calm room, digital editing suite, and a sensory garden will become operational.
