New Write to Recovery group starts in Inverness

13th November 2018

You are warmly invited to a new writing group for anyone who has ever experienced some sort of distress, emotional difficulty or mental health problems.

SRN and HUG are pleased to be starting a new Write to Recovery group in Inverness this month.

Get together with others in a supportive environment which will enable you to engage with your creative energies to tell your story, in your way, to whom you want. Facilitated sessions will take on a new theme each week and participants will learn a variety of techniques to inspire them to write their own stories and experiences.

There will be no pressure to read out what you’ve written and no one will be watching over your shoulder as you write. This group is very much participant led and the level of sharing will depend completely on individual preference.

No writing experience is necessary.

The group starts on Thursday 15 November 2018 and will be held weekly  from 2pm until 4pm at Cromwell Villa. For more information contact hug@spiritadvocacy.org.uk or 01463 719 366.

This group will also be part of HUG’s preparations for the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival Highland 2019.
