OU course: Foundations of Self-Directed Support in Scotland
9th April 2013
A new learning resource has been created by the Open University in collaboration with the Scottish Government to improve understanding around the concepts of personalisation and self-directed support.
Highlighted by the providers as a suitable aid for both the social services workforce and the general public, it is also described as an online tool that supports the ‘cultural shift’ involved in personalising health and social care.
In addition, the providers state that the course content can be used as a stimulus for in-house training sessions.
The course will be available from late April 2013.
