New briefing recommends action to reduce health inequalities
6th August 2015
NHS Health Scotland have launched the first in a series of briefings about health inequalities in Scotland.
The briefings will provide evidence-informed recommendations for tackling the inequalities in Scottish society and the impact on people’s health at a national and local level. The first briefing is Health inequalities: What are they? How do we reduce them?
The next briefing will be published in August and will look at ‘Good Work’. Two briefings will follow in September and will cover the ‘right to health’ and ‘welfare’.
