I’m here too: new resources for carers

22nd February 2012

GAMH has produced a DVD and booklet aimed at mental health carers.

The Glasgow Association for Mental Health (GAMH) is a charity that promote the mental health and wellbeing of people and their communities. It provides over 2000 hours of community based support every week to people in Glasgow.

In partnership with carers from Glasgow Carers Forum Mental Health and staff and carers from within statutory and voluntary sector agencies, GAMH has produced a DVD and booklet to raise awareness of the role of mental health carers in supporting recovery for those experiencing mental health problems and their families and friends. It also highlights sources of support available for mental health carers in Glasgow today.
