Have your say on mental health care in the NHS

20th July 2015

See Me want to hear what you think about NHS mental health services in Scotland.

On 30th July 2015, See Me are attending a attending a mental health summit at the Scottish Parliament, hosted by Liberal Democrat MSP Liam Hume. The summit aims to start the debate on the pressures the NHS is currently facing with their mental health services and will focus on concerns and problems that exist for both patients and staff.

In preparation, See Me want to hear your views and feelings on the main challenges NHS mental health services are currently facing and where you think improvement is needed.

They are asking people to email them the answers to four main questions:

  1. What are the main challenges in improving mental health provision in the NHS?
  2. How can social care and health care be integrated to improve mental health services?
  3. Is current mental health legislation good enough to address the challenges faced by the mental health services?
  4. What needs to change to improve patient access to mental health services?
