Have you ever made a social work complaint?
3rd November 2015
Inclusion Scotland would like to hear from people with disabilities about their experiences of making social work complaints.
If you have been through a complaints procedure they would like to know:
- How accessible the process was?
- Was advocacy or other support provided to take forward the complaint?
- Was the issue resolved to your satisfaction?
In particular, they are keen to talk to anyone has attempted to use the complaints procedure to review a social care assessment; a social care package or social care charges. Feedback gathered will inform Inclusion Scotland’s response to the ‘Consultation on Draft Order to revise the procedures for complaints about social work’.
