FLOAT: self-development training
10th September 2015
Think Thrive have announced two opportunities to book onto their ‘Fulfilling Life’s Opportunities and Thriving’ (FLOAT) self-development training course.
Delivered in a group setting, FLOAT is an experiential course that explores personal needs. It involves finding a need that you have that is not being met and building a plan to meet the need. It also involves building a personal narrative of successfully meeting your needs. Think Thrive said:
This may not be a ‘quick fix’, it may be a long process of learning new skills or self-development with obstacles to overcome on the way. It may in fact be a journey from your point of recognising this unmet need, resolving to try and finding the way to realising fulfilment of the need.
Building on the principles of Wellness Recovery Action Planning (WRAP), this course has been specially developed by Think Thrive to respond to those who have completed WRAP and asked ‘What can I do next’?
The training will be delivered across 3 days from 10am to 3.30pm in:
- Galashiels (free): Wednesday 30th September to Friday 2nd October
- Edinburgh (£96.05 per person): Tuesday 3rd November to Thursday 5th November
