Find local support with online ALISS tool

30th April 2014

The ALLIANCE have launched an updated version of the ALISS (A Local Information System for Scotland) website.

Described as a search and collaboration tool for health and wellbeing in Scotland that everyone can contribute to, this online resource has been designed and developed by people with long term conditions and professionals from multiple sectors. The site signposts people to useful community support and aims to provide a way for communities to work together to gather, maintain and share information.

Jane Ankori, ALISS Programme Director comments:

“..it has grown to become a valuable support for anyone seeking, or looking to contribute to, information about local services, events, activities and places.”
