Digital technology and psychosis: 21 August 2019
22nd July 2019
A free event, in Edinburgh, will explore the role of digital technology in supporting people with experiences of psychosis.
‘Digital technology and psychosis: what’s happening now?’ has been organised by the people behind the EMPOWER study and is aimed at people with lived experience, family carers and practitioners.
There has been an explosion of interest in the application of digital technology to mental health care and support. This is an opportunity to participate in an event that will reflect on the current debates in the use of digital technology for mental health and inform the next steps of the EMPOWER study. The study both involved people with lived experience in the development of App messages as well as peer workers supporting participants involved in the research project.
This free event takes place on Wednesday 21st August 2019 from 12.30 until 4.00pm at the John McIntyre Conference Centre in Edinburgh.
