Adult Mental Health Recovery Event: 2 December 2015
23rd November 2015
This event will outline how people using and working in services have come together to redefine the shape of Community-Based Adult Mental Health in East Renfrewshire.
The aim of the project was to provide new ways for people to engage in services on their terms and to take greater control of how they manage their recovery.
This information and consultation event will provide the opportunity to hear about current thinking from the project, which addressed the themes of:
- Recovery models of care
- Self-directed support
- Social referrals / community links
- Child and adolescent mental health transitions
There will be a mixture of presentations including details about the proposed implementation process for the next 18 months. Event participants will also have the opportunity to contribute and comment.
The event takes place on Wednesday 2nd December 2015 from 9.00am until 4.00pm at the Dalmeny Hotel in Barrhead. If you would like to attend contact Nadine.Mcaleney@eastrenfrewshire.gov.uk by Friday 27th November 2015.
