The Scottish Recovery Network is not able to offer direct help or support to people who may be experiencing mental health issues.

If you are looking for immediate support or assistance you can contact your local GP or Social Work department directly; the numbers for these are available from your local phone book.

If you think you need an emergency ambulance, call 999 and speak to the operator for assistance.

Breathing Space is a free and confidential phoneline service for any individual experiencing low mood or depression, or who is unusually worried and in need of someone to talk to.  Lines are open 6pm – 2am each day and 24hrs at weekends.
