Lothian Recovery Network (LRN) is offering both Wellness Recovery Action Planning (WRAP) training and S1-S3 recovery workshops to people with experience of mental health problems who live in Lothian.

WRAP is a 'self-management' tool that helps individuals take control over their wellbeing and recovery. For more information on WRAP, click here.

The two upcoming WRAP training courses offered by LRN each comprise three half-day workshops that run from 9.30-12.30, and participants are asked to commit to the full course. One course will take place in June (commencing the 3rd) in Livingston, and the other will run in September (commencing the 9th) in Edinburgh.

LRN is also inviting people to register for their S1-S3 recovery workshop programme, which starts this Saturday 8th May 2010, at the Howden Park Centre in West Lothian.

This programme is for people with lived experience of mental health problems, and is facilitated by people with lived experience of recovery. The aim is to equip people with recovery tools and techniques; help them develop a support network; and provide a safe space where experiences can be shared. Each of the five free workshops in the series will run from 10am-2am on Saturdays during May and June.

If you live in Lothian and would like to book for either the WRAP training or recovery workshops, please contact Sarah Cairns on This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or call 0131 536 9411.
