Tendering Opportunity with NES

NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is inviting the submission of proposals for funding from organisations or a consortium of individuals / organisations to help develop and deliver Phase Two of the ‘Development of a Training Infrastructure to Support Values and Recovery Focused Mental Health Practice’ trainers’ preparation initiative.

As outlined in the specification, completed proposals should be submitted by or on Tuesday 20th May 2008.

Evaluating Recovery in Practice Training

Last year we commissioned Health in Mind and Penumbra to deliver a new training course, aimed at people who worked in the voluntary sector, called Recovery in Practice. Given the nature of this new course we were keen to learn more about how well it had worked so we commissioned an independent evaluation of the training, led by Jacki Gordon + Associates and we are now delighted to publish the findings.
