New Employability Guide

The Peer Support Group established as part of the West Referral Team in Glasgow West Regeneration Agency have produced a booklet about mental health and employability. This booklet is unique because it is written by service users for service users.

The ideas behind this booklet emerged as people in the group shared their experiences of trying to gain employment or return to employment. The group provided the ten questions which formed the basis for the project and some of the members of the group then lead on the research and the production of the guide.

The main objective of this booklet is to help people in a similar situation find their way through, as the authors describe, "what can be a complex and sometimes intimidating pathway to that great big scary world out there – the WORLD OF WORK!"
