Registration is now open for the Men’s Health Forum Scotland’s ‘In the minds of men: A seminar on men, mental health and self management’.

mhfs_a5This event being held on 18 January 2011 is aimed at practitioners in the NHS and voluntary sector who support men in self management of long-term conditions.

The purpose is to give delegates a better understanding of the role that gender and masculinity has to play in how men relate and respond to mental health conditions. The seminar will also focus on how men access support for self management of mental health conditions, and the barriers they sometimes face.
