Participation is particularly sought from those who: support and work with those who self-harm, or those at risk of self-harm, and want to contribute to the consultation; are representatives from national bodies and the third sector who want to contribute; or who have experience of self-harm and who are comfortable sharing their perspectives (a separate consultation exercise will be undertaken with people who self-harm).
