The Principles into Practice Network, a partnership initiative backed by the Mental Welfare Commission for Scotland, has extended the deadline for submissions to the Principles into Practice Award Scheme until 10th December 2010.

Given the difficulties that many are experiencing due to the weather, they have decided to extend the deadline for entries.

The scheme aims to recognise, celebrate and share best practice from projects that have embraced the principles of mental health law.

Awards are open to all and previous applicants have included national voluntary organisations, local community groups, advocacy organisations, social enterprises, as well as NHS and social services.

For more information please see our previous article SRN sponsors award to recognise good practice or go to the Principles into Practice website.
