StUN Recovery CD Launched |

Today marks the launch of Stirling Users Network (StUN) recovery focussed CD 'Seeing the Light'. The CD includes people talking about their own recovery from mental health problems and what they found helpful during the recovery process, together with music that the individuals found particularly significant and meaningful to them. Combining the two has resulted in a strong, powerful and positive message that recovery from mental illness is possible. Accompanying notes to the CD, which have transcriptions of the interviews in which service users talk about their experiences of medical interventions, are considered ideal to use for training mental health professionals.
