The Scottish Mental Health and Employment Network was set up in 2008 by a range of government and non-government organisations committed to improving the mental health of Scotland's population and supporting the recovery of people who have experienced mental health problems in relation to employment. One of the initial tasks of the network was to develop leaflets in relation to employment and mental health. Publications have been developed for employers, people with experience of mental health issues who are potentially seeking work and for health professionals.
