Survey on the effect of budget reviews on people with a long-term mental health condition in Scotland

Mental health organisations in Scotland have launched a survey to gather evidence from across Scotland of the effects of budget reviews on people with long term mental health issues. 

With economic hardship and service cuts more of concern than ever, organisations including VOX (Voices of Experience), HUG (Highland Users Group), Bipolar Scotland and others have decided to take a closer look at this issue.

They hope to find out the impact of budget reviews on the lives of people living with a mental health condition, particularly in relation to quality of life, mental health, well-being and recovery.

Their findings and a full report will be published on the VOX website later this year.
