:spaces: green places for head spaces is a FEVA networking event for environmental and mental health organisations and takes place on Thursday 24th September 2009 at Redhall Walled Garden in Edinburgh.

The aim of this event is to maximise opportunities for environmental activity as part of recovery for those experiencing mental health problems by making partnerships between environmental and mental health organisations.

The event will be opened by Bill Torrance of BBC Scotland's Beechgrove Garden and will include green activities, sharing stories and experiences of recovery and the Green Olympics.

This event is aimed at:
  • Managers, group leaders and volunteers from both environmental and mental health organisations.
  • Local government officers and commissioners of mental health services across Scotland.
  • Anyone interested in getting active in the outdoors.
There is a fee of £65 to attend the event, however there are subsidised places available. (This is a not for profit event).
