Long-Term Conditions Alliance Scotland (LTCAS) have jointly published a report on self management with the Scottish Recovery Network.
The Self Management Fund aims to help voluntary organisations and community groups throughout Scotland.
It supports work that encourages people with long term conditions to learn more about the management of their condition and to become active partners in their own care.
LTCAS is working with the organisations that received funding to capture learning gained through the projects and share this widely across Scotland.
Following up on their Interim Evaluation Report they have produced a series of Special Reports on the fund that focus on the themes of the evaluation and highlight some of the projects around the country.
Scottish Recovery Network, with our interest in self-management such as WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Planning), has jointly produce the sixth of these reports on ‘Mental Health’.
The report includes case studies on Pink Ladies Scotland, Comas, Lothian Centre for Inclusive Living, Post Natal Depression Support Network, IntoWork West Lothian and Carr-Gomm.
The other reports in the series are also available on the LTCAS website. These look at:
- The Value of People's Experience
- Skills Development and Employability
- Neurological Conditions
- Communities and Community Assets
- Exercise and Activity
