Penumbra, SRN's host organisation, is looking for a full or part time Peer Support Worker for its pioneering peer support project, Plan 2 Change Edinburgh.

Penumbra logoPenumbra is a leading Scottish voluntary organisation working in the field of mental health. It provides an extensive range of inclusive, recovery-focused services to support people with mental health problems to discover and move towards their desired life.

They are looking for a Peer Support Worker for the Plan 2 Change Edinburgh initiative, which employs people with a personal experience of mental ill health to act as ‘recovery guides’ for others. The Peer Support Worker post would involve assisting service users to establish and maintain a meaningful and fulfilling life in the community by being a role model/facilitator using personal ‘lived experience’ of recovery. Training and support/supervision will be provided as part of this exciting opportunity.
