Have you had experience of NHS services recently and want to offer some feedback, suggestions or thanks? Would you like to see what others are saying too?

patientopinion_logoIf so, then Patient Opinion might interest you. It is a not-for-profit social enterprise that provides a website where anyone can share their recent experience of local health services and see what others are saying. Stories can be from patients, carers, service user or staff.

Stories are told in the individual's own words, or pictures, and you can share as much or as little as you want. It’s totally confidential - Patient Opinion stress that privacy is one of their primary concerns.

Patient Opinion is encouraging health service providers to read the stories that are published on the site and respond online. If a response shows a change has been made to services, the Patient Opinion website highlights this for everyone to see. Patient Opinion is already working with a number of Health Boards across Scotland who are interested in seeing what people have to say.

If you are interested in submitting your story to Patient Opinion then please visit their website, call 0845 113 0012, or write to them at Freepost Patient Opinion.
