A self help group for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people with bipolar disorder as well as their carers, families and friends has been set up in Glasgow.
Bipolar Scotland is a charity set up to provide information, support and advice for people affected by bipolar disorder/manic depression. They aim to promote self help throughout Scotland and to inform and educate about the illness.The new group meets on the 1st Tuesday of the month (7-9pm) at the Terrence Higgins Trust, Rothesay House, 134 Douglas Street Glasgow G2 4HF. If you are interested just come along on the night as there is no need for referral.
