Did you take part in SRN's 2005 narrative research project? If so, we would still like to hear from you.

nrp_logoLearning from the 2005 Narrative Research Project has been used extensively to promote and support recovery, from publications to training materials. A recent evaluation notes that it is widely seen as one of SRN's greatest successes.

Five years on, we are keen to revisit this project to further develop our understanding of recovery. We would like to hear from you if you took part in the 2005 project to learn about your experiences since. If you're not sure whether you contributed please see the note below.

SRN have commissioned independent researchers Sue Cowan and Jennie Guise to undertake this new research on our behalf.

If you are eligible and interested in taking part in the Narrative Research Project Revisited, SRN will provide a full briefing and arrange a suitable time and place to meet. We will reimburse all reasonable expenses and provide lunch and refreshments. Participants will also be given a £25 gift token.

If you are interested in getting involved, please contact Lucy Mulvagh for an information pack by email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or by phone: 0141 240 7790.

We would also appreciate your help in getting news of this opportunity to anyone you think may have been involved in the original project in 2005.

Note: If you took part in the 2005 project, you would have been interviewed by two researchers in one of the following locations:

Aberdeen: Regus Building or Apex Hotel
Dumfries: Cairndale Hotel
Dundee: Apex City Quay Hotel
Edinburgh: Apex International Hotel
Glasgow: Teachers Building or Europa Building
Kerrimuir: Help the Aged Centre
Inverness: Columba Hotel
