On 31st October 2011, Michael Matheson MSP, Minister for Public Health, will formally launch the Scottish Recovery Indicator 2.

sri2_logo_pngSRI 2 will be launched at an event organised by the Scottish Recovery Network at Edinburgh's Dynamic Earth.

This event is intended for those with a responsibility in developing recovery focused services, including mental health strategy leads, mental health managers, directors, planners, commissioners, service providers and people with personal experience who are responsible for recovery focused mental health service development.

Simon Bradstreet, Scottish Recovery Network Director, will present on what has changed with the SRI, why those changes have happened and how they impact on services using the tool.

As the provisional programme suggests, the SRI 2 launch will highlight the ways in which mental health service providers from various practitioner backgrounds have used the tool in developing recovery focused services. Participants will also have opportunities to question an expert panel on SRI 2.

Registration for the event is now closed, but keep an eye on the SRN website as we'll be announcing some exciting developments soon, including a live webcast.
