On 28th March 2011, Mary O’Hagan, international (New Zealand) thought leader on mental health service user perspectives, facilitated an event at the Scores Hotel, St Andrews, on Service User Participation and Leadership. Managers and workers from NHS Fife and Fife Council attended the morning masterclass, an opportunity to learn and share experiences. Stakeholders – service users, carers, voluntary sector workers and volunteers – joined the group for the afternoon workshop, coming from many parts of Scotland, including Fife, Aberdeen, Dundee, Perth, Alloa, Glasgow and Ayrshire. Chrys Muirhead, Convener of Peer Support Fife, organised and hosted this event which was jointly funded along with Fife Council and NHS Fife. For more on this event, including a report and Mary O'Hagan's presentation, please visit the Peer Support Fife website.
