We are delighted to announce that all the stories of peoples' lived experience of mental health and recovery on the SRN website have now been tagged.

routes_coverWe have assigned pertinent words and phrases to every story shared on our site. This extensive piece of work now means that you can search and find stories that are most relevant to you.

SRN gather and share recovery stories for a number of reasons. They inform and inspire people with experience of mental health issues, carers and service providers alike. They offer hints and techniques on recovery and recognise the fact that people in recovery are ‘experts in their own experience’, stating very clearly that people can and do recover. They also help us learn more about the factors which help and hinder the recovery process and to better understand what recovery means.

We have been gathering stories since the 2005 Narrative Research Project, and are very grateful for those who shared their stories as part of this project as well as by submitting to our website.

Visit the story tag cloud and begin your search for stories.
