A newly published journal article examines how four key technologies of recovery have assisted in the move towards the creation of a recovery-oriented mental health system in Scotland.

I have always been a firm believer that recovery from mental illness is so much more important that those afflicted being given drugs to take for the rest of their lives so that they can feel normal. The reality is that they are dependent upon these drugs and are never really cured. I hope this trend of recovery oriented treatment is going to be be more commonplace.
