Scottish Government eHealth workshops: March 2011

The Scottish Government's eHealth division is organising workshops in Edinburgh to help develop the next eHealth Strategy for NHS Scotland.

 

The eHealth programme aims to change the way in which information and related technology are used within NHS Scotland in order to improve the quality of patient care.

The workshops will address the following subjects on the dates indicated:

  • ‘To improve clinician availability of patient information, tools to work with that information and communicate it across professionals’ (14th March).
  • ‘To improve medications management as an essential part of peoples’ care’ (15th March).
  • ‘To enable people to interact electronically with NHS Scotland' (21st March).
  • To shift the balance of care to improved patient to improved community based care and support for people with long term conditions and mental health problems’ (21st March).
