Everyone has strategies for keeping well, regardless if you have a mental health problem or not. This session offered a chance to learn about and discuss various self management approaches (including WRAP) and different techniques. This session has presentations from:

STEPS: a multi-level, multi-purpose service for common mental health problems
Carol Richards, NHS Glasgow
In this presentation Carol offers an overview of Glasgow's Southeast service STEPS, a primary care mental health team, and discuss the high volume work in which this project is involved.  She also highlights some practical suggestions and ideas for supporting and maintaining individual wellbeing.

An overview of WRAP and how it has helped in my own journey of recovery

The session offers a brief overview of WRAP - a self management tool promoting self directed recovery by building on strengths to manage episodes which are challenging. Rona illustrates this using her own story.
